【Event highlights | DFA Awards 2023 Design Dialogue (Shanghai) - Design is…Spatial Aesthetics】

The second Design Dialogue of DFA Awards 2023 was successfully held last Thursday at ‘Design Shanghai’. Thank you all for attending!

The moderator, Steve Leung and guest speakers, Arnold Wong, Edmond Wong, Cynthia Leung and Sam Fu shared their insights in the trend of spatial design, as well as the correlation between design and space.

Four designers shared their views on ‘aesthetics’ in spatial design. Aesthetics in spatial design is not just about creating beautiful spaces, but a multifaceted concept that includes functionality and meaning. A space should not only be a place for people to live, but also a platform for stakeholders to communicate and maintain harmony between communities.

The next Design Dialogue will be held on 16 June online via Zoom. The award-winning Korea designers of DFA Design for Asia Awards will share their design and experience on the theme of ‘Design is…Legacy of Culture’. Don't miss this sharing from the Korean designers!
