The third DFA Awards 2023 Design Dialogue (Korea) was successfully held on last Friday under the theme of 'Design is...Legacy of Culture'. Thank you for attending!
The moderator Harry Jun, guest speakers Kyung-in Na, Kyung-soo Na, and Peter Park Yong-seok shared their insights about on what design plays in preserving and promoting cultural heritage in today's globalised environment, and how to balance innovation and tradition in design.
The Toolpress team will continue to use hanji, a traditional Korean paper on their designs. Peter, DPA Studio shared his views on the implications of using eco-friendly and sustainable methods in accessory design.
