The best designers sense, understand, innovate, and influence. Their designs reflect conscious observations of the individual, society, nature, and culture, and are the results of extended periods of contemplation, research, and development.

The Hong Kong Design Centre has run the DFA Awards since 2003 as a way to inspire both the design community and the public to articulate the designs that Asia needs, to commend design excellence, and to celebrate the people and their projects that have had a significant impact in Asia.

The annual publication – “Design for Asia: DFA Awards” features global design trendsetters, award winners from “DFA Design for Asia Awards” and “DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award”, leading readers to discover the new face of design for Asia in terms of science and technology innovation, environmental experiences, social concerns, and humanitarian issues.

Other than the annual publication, the exhibition in 誠品香港 eslite@HK Causeway Bay Store also features selected winners in the DFA Design for Asia Awards in 2019 and 2020. Discover and witness and the legacy together!
